Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by performing various tasks related to shipping, receiving, and materials handling. This position requires physical stamina and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Perform heavy lifting and manual handling of goods as required.
- Assist with shipping and receiving operations, ensuring accurate documentation and inventory control.
- Assisting with parts into production team.
- Build and assemble pallets for storage or shipment.
- Utilise a Warehouse Management System (WMS) to track inventory levels and manage stock movements.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the warehouse environment.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of tasks and adherence to safety protocols.
- Demonstrate mechanical knowledge for basic equipment maintenance and troubleshooting as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse/manufacturing setting is advantageous but not essential.
- Strong physical ability to perform heavy lifting and manual tasks consistently throughout the shift.
- Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes is preferred.
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is beneficial.
- Forklift certification is advantageous
- Good understanding of materials handling practices and safety regulations.
- Mechanical knowledge is a plus, enabling effective equipment operation and maintenance.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment are essential for success in this role.
