Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to load and unload goods, ensuring efficient warehouse operations. This role requires a strong understanding of warehouse management systems and the ability to perform basic equipment repairs as needed.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload goods from lorries, ensuring proper handling and storage.
- Handle materials with care, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations within the working environment.
- Engage in heavy lifting as required, following safe lifting techniques.
Qualifications
- Previous FLT experience is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in materials handling and operating forklifts is essential.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks consistently throughout the shift.
- Familiarity with shipping and receiving procedures is beneficial.
