Casemaker / Export Packer

Job description

We are looking for an experienced and skilful case maker/export packer with experience of recent casemaking, export packing and/or wood machinist experience. The salary rates we offer will reflect the experience and skill of the applicant.

You must be able to work accurately to deadlines, work well as part of a team and have a willing and flexible attitude towards the job.

Our job at Horley/Gatwick involves:-

• Working with timber and plywood to build and produce crates, packing cases and pallets for our clients’ products.
• Using power saws
• Nail guns
• Drills
• Other hand tools
• Cutting foam for crate inserts
• forklift operation
• On-site packing for customers
• Local customer deliveries when required
• Working to high standards of quality and health & safety
• Physical and varied work (heavy lifting is involved)

Salary is according to skills and experience. Paid overtime is available at busy times.
