Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Assistant to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the efficient running of the Workshop
- Chassis and frame repair
- Vehicle maintenance experience
- Steel and aluminium fabrication
- FLT licence
- Welding/fabrication
- light electrical assembly/fault finding
- use of hand tools
- Mechanic or mechanical background
- Picking and packing of orders
- Vehicle inspection
- Preparation of the product for clients and customers
- Communicate with other departments
- Receive, identify, mark and place materials sent to the workshop
- Organise the safe and efficient storage and distribution of stock
- Quickly and effectively handle queries from other departments
- Maintain a clean & tidy Warehouse / Workshop
- Dealing accurately with goods-in receipting, unpacking and putting away
- Packing and dispatching of all customer products
- Meet all compliance objectives
Key Skills:
Experience in a workshop, manufacturing or production environment
- Workshop experience is advantageous
- Use of hand tools
- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Always maintain accuracy
- Understand the importance of Health & Safety
- Microsoft Office experience
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £27,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
