We are seeking a dedicated Print Production Operative to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the production of printed materials, ensuring high-quality output, and maintaining efficient workflow. Duties
- Operate printing machinery and related equipment to produce high-quality printed materials.
- Assist with the setup, calibration, and maintenance of printing and finishing machines.
- Use hand tools and power tools for assembly, repairs, or adjustments of print components.
- Conduct fabrications and modifications as required for custom print jobs.
- Perform heavy lifting of materials, supplies, or finished products safely and efficiently.
- Support warehouse activities including stock organisation, inventory checks, and material handling.
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed during production processes.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
Skills
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate and troubleshoot printing equipment.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for assembly and repairs.
- Experience in personalisation.
- Previous warehouse experience is beneficial for understanding stock handling procedures.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
