Duties
- Operate machinery and equipment in accordance with safety protocols and production guidelines.
- Conduct regular inspections of machinery to identify any maintenance needs or potential issues.
- Maintain an organised workspace, ensuring that tools and materials are stored correctly.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
- Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
- Assist in the training of new staff members on operational procedures and best practices.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
- Experience in a warehouse setting is advantageous, providing familiarity with production workflows.
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure high-quality standards are met consistently.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated to complete tasks independently.
- Strong organisational skills to maintain an efficient workspace and manage time effectively.
