Details | PRS Recruitment Solutions Ltd require an experienced Procurement Administrator to work on a 4 week contract with the potential for this to be extended for the right candidate
Responsibilities
- · Procurement site lead for Waterbeach
- · Support to Milton Keynes Procurement Lead
- · Admin support to the business wide Subcontract Commercial Manager
- · Provision of general administration support to the Procurement function across Waste
- · Daily Purchasing card administration and controls
- · Raising of subcontract purchase orders
- · Raising of Group level purchases and overflow support to sites across Waste when required
- · Raising of Purchase orders for Waterbeach, with support to Milton Keynes
- · SAP Catalogue control and maintenance
- · Procurement Management Information and Spend Analysis
- · Content owner for Procurement webpage
- · Provision of cover to site Procurement Nominees (holiday / sickness)
- · Maintenance of Procurement policy, guidance and process documents
- · Maintenance of Contracts database
- · Management of Goods receipting process for Milton Keynes / Waterbeach
- · To undertake any other duties that might reasonably be expected of this post to achieve the successful delivery of the service
Role Specific Responsibilities
- · Daily transactional Procurement of goods, material and services
- · Tactical sourcing where existing supply agreements do not exist
- · Assisting the business with utilising existing Supply Chain arrangements and solutions
Professional Profile
- · Transactional experience of raising and processing Purchase Orders
- · Ability to interpret data and analyse using Excel at an intermediate level
- · General appreciation and exposure to Indirect Procurement categories
- · Knowledge of Procurement and Supply Chain management principles
- · Commercial experience around price negotiation, request for quotation and tender activity
- · Knowledge of SAP or similar operating systems
- · Have the vision to explore and develop leading edge procurement solutions
Experience
- · Procurement expertise within a site based and or matrix organisation
- · A track record in conducting firm, fair and ethical negotiations with suppliers
- · Experience of managing and developing internal stakeholder relationships
- · Knowledge of Indirect Procurement categories and services
General Competencies
- · Highly analytical – data conversant
- · MS suite skills of a high level
- · SAP knowledge preferred
- · Interest / experience in Procurement and Commercial activity
- · Comfortable with operating at all business levels
- · Customer service focus
- · Scope for personal development within role
